چکیده

With many applications across domains as diverse logistics, healthcare, and agriculture, service robots are in increasingly high demand. Nevertheless, the designers of these often struggle with specifying their tasks a way that is both human-understandable sufficiently precise to enable automated verification planning robotic missions. Recent research has addressed this problem for functional aspects missions through use mission specification patterns . These patterns support definition involving, instance, patrolling perimeter, avoidance unsafe locations within an area, or reacting specific events. Our paper introduces catalog xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">QUantitAtive RoboTic mission spEcificaTion (QUARTET) tackles complementary equally important challenge reliability, performance, resource usage, other key quantitative properties Identified using methodology included analysis 73 papers published 17 leading software engineering robotics venues between 2014–2021, our 22 QUARTET defined tool-supported domain-specific language. Mission-adaptive crowd navigation for mobile robots

Recent developments in mobile robotics made feasible the near future scenario of mobile robots assisting individual persons. Such robots must maintain a sufficient distance from their human owners to be able to offer assistance, but otherwise they need to be inconspicuous and observe the prevailing social and cultural norms. We are considering a scenario of mobile robots assisting a peacekeeper...

Dynamic mission planning for multiple mobile robots

Planning for multiple mobile robots in dynamic environments involves determining the optimal path each robot should follow to accomplish the goals of the mission, given the current knowledge available about the world. As knowledge increases or improves, the planning system should dynamically reassign robots to goals in order to continually minimize the time to complete the mission. In this pape...

Fuzzy Motion Control for Wheeled Mobile Robots in Real-Time

Due to various advantages of Wheeled Mobile Robots (WMRs), many researchers have focused to solve their challenges. The automatic motion control of such robots is an attractive problem and is one of the issues which should carefully be examined. In the current paper, the trajectory tracking problem of WMRs which are actuated by two independent electrical motors is deliberated. To this end, and ...

Quantitative Performance Metrics for Mobile Robots Navigation

Mobile robots navigation involves the design of navigation algorithms. There are several navigation methods for mobile robots and every time a new navigation algorithm is proposed, some comparisons with traditional algorithms are usually made, but there isn’t set of benchmarks globally accepted to assess the performance of algorithms. Despite the wide variety of studies and research on robot na...
